"What is Chopped strand mat?”
Chopped Strand Mat is made of randomly distributed chopped strands held together by a powder binder.
It is compatible with UP, VE, EP, PF resins.
HD’s Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) is a non-woven mat made from E-glass filaments, consisting of chopped fibres randomly and yet evenly orientated. The 50 mm length chopped fibres are coated with a silane coupling agent and are held together using an emulsion binder.
