Description

"What is Chopped strand?”
Chopped Strands are made by bundling thousands of E-glass fiber together and chopping them into specified length. 
They are coated by original surface treatment designed for each resin to increase the strength and physical properties.
"What is a BMC（Bulk Molding Compound）?”
It is a composite molding material on a sheet which has no stickiness and excellent moldability by impregnating the fiberglass chopped strand to a compound which is made by mixing unsaturated polyester resin with filler, catalyst, release agent, etc., and by reinforcing and chemically increasing viscosity.

Application

BMC is used for construction and automotive. There are ceiling materials, ceiling tiles for bathrooms, and water tanks for buildings, and battery cases, spare tire wheel wells, luggage doors, and tailgate lids for automobiles. In particular, production of battery cases using BMC materials is expected to increase further in line with the increasing commercialization and sales of environmentally friendly vehicles (electric cars, hybrid cars).

it is suitable for unsaturated polyester resins for general and electrical purpose BMC with low shrinkage.

As a professional fiberglass enterprise,mainly manufactures and distributes a wide range of E type fiberglass products, such as fiberglass roving, fiberglass chopped strands, fiberglass chopped strand mat, fiberglass woven roving, needled mat, fiberglass fabric and so on. These are widely used in construction industry, automotive industry, airplane and ship building area, chemistry and chemical industry, electrical and electronics, sports and leisure, the emerging field of environmental protection like wind energy, combination of varies of pipes and thermal insulation material. The E-glass products are compatible with the various resins, such as EP/UP/VE/PA and so on.

Packaging & Shipment
Chopped Strands are packaged in kraft bags or woven bags, about 25kg per bag, 4 bags per layer, 8 layers per pallet and 32 bags per pallet, Each 32 bags of products are packed by multilayer shrink film and packing band. Also the product can be packed as the customers’ reasonable requirements.
This product should be stocked in dry and cool places. The best condition is within temperature between 15-35℃, with a relative humidity between 30% and 70%. Please keep the product in its original packing before use to avoid moisture.
