fiberglass for ship

Usually fiberglass woven roving, spray up roving and chopped strand mat is often used for shipbuilding, and fiberglass plain cloth is more used for ship repair.

Fiberglass boats consist of braids alternated with any number of resins such as polyester, vinylester or epoxy.

The advantages of this method include relatively low maintenance, high strength, ease of repair,

and generally lower cost compared to other shipbuilding materials.
