"What is fiberglass direct roving?”

Direct roving manufactured by HD is continuous single twistless roving used for hand lay-up, filament winding,pultrusion, and weaving processes. Such glass fiber roving is applicable to unsaturated polyester resin (UP), vinyl ester resin (VE), phenolic resin。

Winding process:

In the filament winding process,continuous strands of resin-impregnated glass fiber are wound are wound under tension onto a mandrel in precise geometric patterns to build up the part which is then cured to form the finished parts.

Pultrusion process:

Pultrusion is a process where raw materials (fiberglass direct roving and resins) are drawn into a profile die by a mechanical pulling force. These glass fibers are injected with resins while under tension where they are combined and cured.

The weaving process, interlaces the warp and filling yarns according to a weave pattern to form a fabric structure. Almost any weave pattern can be woven with fiberglass roving/yarn. The basic patterns

Packaging & Shipment

Fiberglass roving each roll is approximately 18KG, 48/64 rolls a tray, 48 rolls are 3 floors and 64 rolls are 4 floors. The 20-foot container holds about 22 tons.
